AUTHOR GUIDELINES
SECOND BIENNIAL EMERGY RESEARCH CONFERENCE
 

September 20-22, 2001
Gainesville, Florida

Bring a copy of your paper to the conference. No need to bring a disk, we will request a copy of your paper on disk after the review process and your corrections

Please follow these guidelines when submitting your paper.

TEXT

  • Times New Roman 12 point font, unless otherwise specified
  • MS Word document, double spaced (or 1.5 spaces), 1" margins
  • Please try to keep it 10 pages or less
  • If possible use Standard scientific paper format
    • Title (12 point Bold font)
    • Authors with affiliation
    • Abstract (< 250 words, 10 point font)
    • MAIN HEADINGS (all caps, centered)
    • Secondary Headings (caps and lower case, centered)
    • Third Order Headings (caps lower case/ left justified)
    • References (10 point font as follows)

TABLES, GRAPHS, ILLUSTRATIONS

  • Tables should be sent as Word files...NOT Excel files. PLEASE DO NOT EMBED TABLES within the text of your manuscript. Save and submit as seperate files.
  • Graphs can be sent as Excel files or convert to Canvas or some other drawing application. DO NOT EMBED IN your manuscript.
  • Please submit illustrations as separate files...DO NOT EMBED FIGURES in your manuscript. If possible use a drawing program like CANVAS, ILLUSTRATOR, etc. for diagrams. Please save as a TIFF file at the highest possible resolution.
  • DO NOT embed graphs, diagrams or pictures in your Word text file
  • NO COLOR PLEASE!
  • PLEASE DO NOT send any papers via e-mail. Mail a hard copy and a disk containing all files to:
